He has done it before and this time also Salman went ahead and apparently had a new hair transplant done after his much talked about last year's hair transplant. Though it's been talked in a hush hush manner, we got to know the secret behind Sallu’s new bandana and his cap. The buzz is that his old hair loss problem has resurfaced again and he reportedly has had a new hair transparent again some time back in Dubai. "No one is talking about it as it's a personal matter for bhai and he gets upset. But the fact is that Salman Bhai had a hair transplant done couple of days back and that's why he wears a cap these days," says a source close to the star.

Himesh Reshammiya

















The secret behind the singing star is that he is nearly bald and though he tried hair extension for his latest Aap Ka Surror, it wasn't successful and he went before the camera with his cap. The much talked about scene where he takes off his cap is actually a side shot and he did it by wearing a wig. Now he is trying for a permanent hair transplant which is a painful process and time consuming," says a source.

Rakesh Roshan













Not many know that Rakesh Roshan was completely bald when he started his career as an actor. And for almost his entire film career, the director actor appeared on the screen with smartly done hair weaving and it worked wonders for him. But after he stopped acting he decided to take it off.

Amitabh Bachchan






















Another little secret is Amitabh Bachchan's hair transplant. According to trichologist Dr Shahid Shamsher, hair weaving and transplants are highly expensive treatments but they are professional investments for actors. "Amitabh Bachchan was very wise to do it way before people saw him balding and I think he has the most natural hair job," he says. And that's why Big B had been able to maintain one look throughout the last session of KBC.

Jackie Shroff




















Jackie Shroff realized the importance of a good hair early in his career and apparently got his hair woven 15 years ago. "He was at the peak of his career, but was increasingly getting bald, and that's when he decided to get his hair woven," says a friend of the star.

Dharmendra























Dharmendra too went for hair weaving for his film Life in a. Metro. He wanted to look young and it's the hair that made all the difference," says a unit member. And it was his Sunny who advised him to go for a hair weaving.

Sunny Deol
















Like Salman, Sunny too has been getting his hair weaved from time to time. He still hasn't decided to go for a hair transplant and always does hair weaving and that's why it doesn't look natural like Salman," says a source. And for his latest film Apne, he got his hair weaving done in London. Sunny suffers from two major problems. " Hair falls and backache and he has taken care of his hair fall by going for hair weaving," says a friend of the star.

Akshaye Khanna

















The Khanna boy first got his hair weaved for Dil Chahta Hai and Humraaz. "After that he got bored and appeared in few films in his natural self. And on the insistence of Nikhil Advani he got his hair weaved again for Salaam -E Ishq," says a friend of the star.

Govinda

















After Salman, its Govinda turn to go for a hair transplant. And he actor has no qualms about admitting it. "I'm going in for a hair transplant. I am planning to get it done in September in Dubai. And Salman is helping me by putting me to his doctors. It's painful and expensive, but karne padega," he smiles.

Rajnikanth



















Falling hair didn't spare India's biggest superstar Rajnikanth as well. Of late he has appeared in all his films, the latest being Shivaji- the Boss, by doing hair weaving.
